DIY Crochet Daisy Flower Appliqué for Beginners

Materials Needed:
- 4 ply cotton yarn – Yellow (center), White (petals)
- 3 mm crochet hook
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
Written Pattern – Crochet Daisy Flower
Center (Yellow):
- Begin with a Magic Ring - R1: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 11 dc into ring (12 total) - Join with sl st to top of starting ch 3 - Change color to white while making the slip stitch
Petals (White):
Repeat this sequence in each stitch around: 1. Ch 3 2. Make 3 tr into the next stitch 3. Ch 3 4. Sl st into the next stitch → Repeat this for all 12 petals.
Finishing:
- Sl st into the base of the first petal
- Fasten off and leave a tail for attaching if needed
- Use a tapestry needle to weave in all tail ends neatly
- Adjust petals and center for shape
Usage Ideas:
